Although dental implant therapy and some cosmetic treatments are becoming more common procedures, the virtues of the treatments are not yet widely known amongst the general public. All patients at Complete Smile undergo a preliminary test to check if they are suitable for dental implant therapy and cosmetic and smile makeovers. A treatment plan will then be created as a result of an initial diagnosis and a treatment programme worked out.

A minor procedure is all that is required to insert an implant, or place a veneer and this is usually carried out under local anaesthetic.

Surprisingly little pain is felt after receiving the treatment, with most patients feeling a similar level of discomfort associated with a simple tooth extraction.

The timescale for treatment depends on the nature of the bone into which the implant is placed and the design of the replacement teeth. The treatment is normally completed within three to six months, and involves an average of three to four visits. Cosmetic smile makeovers can be completed in days to weeks. Our trained dental implant surgeons and dentists are available to administer procedures of the highest standard at times that are convenient to you over the duration of your treatment.
