Mrs B from Washington had been losing her teeth in dribs and drabs due to refractory periodontitis despite intensive treatment from several sources. This occurred over twenty years. Mrs B was not keen on having sinus grafting to help with the restoration of the maxilla. A shortened arch was therefore placed and constructed on 8 implants with a short cantileva on the left like an all-on-four, using angled implants to avoid grafts.
The implants were placed with LA and IV sedation. Both arches were restored 8 months after placement. Monitoring has been uneventful at eight years.
Eight visits.
Cost to patient £26,000
